Hello friends, and maybe neighbors!
We have been Baja enthusiasts for years. We used to go down to Los Cabos as often as we could
for the fishing and the beach life. But in recent years, Los Cabos has become SO crowded and
pressured - we weren't enjoying ourselves anymore!
Several years ago we took a short trip up to Mulege and fell in love with that area - much calmer
and quieter. We thought that when we retired, we would look for a home there.
Then we stumbled across Costa Cardonal! Everything about it seemed right from the start. The
location was beautiful and out-of-the-way. The lots were huge in comparison to anything we had
seen so far, and there was so much open space! The folks who had put the community together
were honest and responsible - and yet seemed so much like us that we became friends instantly.
We took a quick trip down to check out the property "for real", and to choose our lot. We found
the property to be well managed, and the area was full of interesting things to do and likeable
people to socialize with. We were sold!
Our plan is to purchase the lot while we are still working; then - in about 5 years - we'll be
ready to retire, build our home and settle in. We were able to work out a purchase plan with the
developers that allowed us to buy into Costa Cardonal while our income levels were still high,
and before the area's land values increase, as we are sure they will!
Costa Cardonal is our retirement dream come true - and sooner than we could have expected it!
We're so happy and excited to be a part of this project.
