Community Center: Costa Cardonal has set aside a prime site for the development of a Community Center,
including gardens, game and activity areas and shaded gathering places.
Landscaped Areas, Protected Habitats, and Gentle Paths: We have left large areas for shady,
landscaped "oases", screening buffer zones and native habitats. Broad pathways will invite residents to
stroll through the community and down to the beach. Landscaping projects are in progress. For details,

Roadways: An access road and three smaller roads, composed of crushed and compacted shells, provide a
smooth route to your home site. There are no through roads at Costa Cardonal. Traffic will consist of
yourselves and your guests.
Water: A large water storage tank holds the community's supply of household water (replenished from a
nearby well that taps a large aquifer). Distribution lines bring the water to each lot. Every lot's water
consumption is metered, and property owners will be billed according to their usage.
Watchman/Caretaker: A well-trained and highly responsible individual has been employed and lives on-site.
His duties are to watch over the community, and to maintain the facilities and landscaping.
Utility/Storage Area: A fenced and locked area has been created to be shared by residents for the
storage of their property, vehicles and boats.
Sense of Community: Property owners participate in the management of Costa Cardonal via an informal
discussion and decision-making process, and contribute to a fund for the maintenance, repair and
replacement of common-use facilities. The community values democratic discussion and full disclosure, and
is committed to keeping Costa Cardonal beautiful and functional for the long term. Contact us, and we'll
